The Rwanda Human Resources Management Organisation (RHRMO) recently held a meeting with the Ministry of Public Service and Labour (MIFOTRA) to discuss opportunities for strengthening collaboration and advancing the professionalisation of Human Resource Management in Rwanda.
The meeting brought together RHRMO and the Minister of Public Service and Labour for discussions focused on strengthening the HR profession and supporting the development of a more capable and effective workforce in Rwanda.
Key areas discussed included strengthening HR capacity and professional development, advancing HR research and digital transformation, and enhancing policy and regulatory frameworks that support the growth of the profession.
The engagement reflects the importance of collaboration between government and professional HR institutions in building strong human capital systems. By working together, stakeholders can create opportunities for continuous learning, promote professional standards, and support HR practitioners in responding effectively to the changing needs of organisations and the workforce.
RHRMO remains committed to contributing to the professionalisation of Human Resource Management in Rwanda by supporting HR professionals, promoting continuous development, and creating platforms for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
The organisation looks forward to strengthening its engagement with MIFOTRA and other stakeholders to advance initiatives that contribute to a stronger, more professional, and future-ready HR sector in Rwanda.
