Rwanda Human Resources Management organization (RHRMO) organized two (2) day’s Workshop for the Human Resource Professionals and Practitioners drawn from different institutions which included public, private, NGOs and civil society organizations in Rwanda and beyond.
The workshop was attended by over 200 participants from Public, private, NGOs and civil society organizations under the theme “Rwanda Labour Law for employee relations promotion and staff productivity”.
For the two days, participants were trained on changes in the new Law n-0 66/2018 of 30/8/2018 regulating Labour in Rwanda and how to improve employee relations in order to boost employee’s productivity at work place.
The workshop was attended by delegates from different countries including Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania and Egypt. The Delegates shared their HRM experiences and the associated best practices on how they have improve the HR Profession in their respective countries.
To elevate HRM to next dimension, RHRMO plans to establish a certified Institute of Human Resources Professionals that will provide professional training and certification of the trained Human Resource Professionals.
Rwanda Human Resources Management Organization was found in 2012 with mandate to build an effective, competent and qualified Human Resources Professionals that enhance continuous development of human capital needed at the labor market.
The institute will become the center of excellence in HRM within the region and beyond. The institute will play in addition a consultative role for the employer and the employees in the field of Human Resources Management.
